A Loony Tunes Christmas

Saturday night (24th November) saw as at Orion Springfield Town Centre. They had their official Christmas launch with Santa coming to town.

So we took Indi down for the free rides, balloons, face painting and parade. Well the lines for the rides were too long and I will not start on the balloon and face painting people. But we did get to see the parade and watch "A Very Loony Tunes Christmas" show.

Anyway here are a few photos for you.

A Decision Made

Now we just have to hope for acceptance with the enrollment.

We have decided to enrol Indi into The Westside Christian College. As you can see from the website it is only a small christian private school.

They offer a Pre-Prep program for children age 4 and they cater right up to Grade 12. So it would be a continuous education for her. In a small, close knit school community.

The bonus to this is. The Pre-Prep program is $4000 per year cheaper than day care currently is.

That is right folks!! Day care costs us over $6000 a year. We never added it up until we looked into this. We are completely dumb struck that we have been paying that sort of money out for the last 2 years.

I don't regret, not for one moment, putting her into day care. She has developed in leaps and bounds in it and it has made her the gorgeous, stunning and effervescent little girl she is now.

Crazy Hat Day

Well tomorrow is Melbourne Cup Day and with that comes Crazy Hat Day at day care. I only figured this out about an hour ago.

So after much scratching of my head I decided to alter an old fascinator I had. Here are the beginning and end results and of course the model and new owner.
