Meet "Spotty"

She is our new dog. We decided to adopt a greyhound. So today we got a new member to our family.

Her name is "Spotty". She will be four next month, so no spring chicken but so far her and Indi have settled in well together.

Here are some pictures of her for you all!!! They are not great... when she is properly settled in (should take a few days) I hope to get some proper ones.

Christmas Day

Okay here she is opening her presents!!!! She got a Barbie Watch which she was all she wanted from Santa. Plus a Princesses Drawing Table also from Christmas. She also got a heap of other stuff which I am going to try to get a photo of next week when I finally get organised.

Christmas Eve

Okay here is the little Princess all dressed up for Christmas Eve. For those that dont know we celebrate on that night as it is a tradition for Jason. He has German ancestory and it is a tradition for them..

So Indi wore her special dress that Aunti Ole bought her forChristmas Day... But she was spending that with all her BOY COUSINS and I could just imagine this dress being trashed by the end of the day...

First up just a gorgeous photo of her I managed to get... You know one of those miracles that happen once in awhile.

These ones are TWIRLING photos... When you wear a PRINCESS dress you have to TWIRL!!

This is just a full on of the dress.. It really was gorgeous... Pity about the garage door behind her, but we have NO garden at this house.

A Loony Tunes Christmas

Saturday night (24th November) saw as at Orion Springfield Town Centre. They had their official Christmas launch with Santa coming to town.

So we took Indi down for the free rides, balloons, face painting and parade. Well the lines for the rides were too long and I will not start on the balloon and face painting people. But we did get to see the parade and watch "A Very Loony Tunes Christmas" show.

Anyway here are a few photos for you.

Sea World

Well yesterday Jason took a day off work and we all went to Sea World for the day

We all had a great time. Got a little sunburnt, a whole lot hot and we were all exhausted by the time we got home.

Anyway here are some photo for you all too look at..

A Decision Made

Now we just have to hope for acceptance with the enrollment.

We have decided to enrol Indi into The Westside Christian College. As you can see from the website it is only a small christian private school.

They offer a Pre-Prep program for children age 4 and they cater right up to Grade 12. So it would be a continuous education for her. In a small, close knit school community.

The bonus to this is. The Pre-Prep program is $4000 per year cheaper than day care currently is.

That is right folks!! Day care costs us over $6000 a year. We never added it up until we looked into this. We are completely dumb struck that we have been paying that sort of money out for the last 2 years.

I don't regret, not for one moment, putting her into day care. She has developed in leaps and bounds in it and it has made her the gorgeous, stunning and effervescent little girl she is now.

Crazy Hat Day

Well tomorrow is Melbourne Cup Day and with that comes Crazy Hat Day at day care. I only figured this out about an hour ago.

So after much scratching of my head I decided to alter an old fascinator I had. Here are the beginning and end results and of course the model and new owner.

What A Night

Especially for a little person. We all went to the Jacaranda Festival tonight.. Indi went on some rides, climed and sat in a firetruck and then we watched the fireworks.

She had a wonderful time. She said to us on the way home "I lubbed tonight. Thanks for letting me come."

Anyway here are some pics of her for you all. All showing her having a wonderful time.

Giddy up!!

Holding her ticket. Waiting for her turn.

Sitting on one of the rides. Waiting for it to start

Sometime being little means needing help. Like climbing up into big firetrucks

Sitting pretty in the firetruck
